Woxsen University Grants Honorary Doctorate to Baumeister

Woxsen University announced it will confer an Honorary Doctorate on social psychologist Dr. Roy F. Baumeister at its July 2026 Convocation.
Dr. Baumeister, Professor Emeritus at University of Queensland, will also serve as Chief Guest, bringing over 700 publications and 300,000 citations.
Vice President Dr. Raul Villamarin Rodriguez praised Baumeister’s influence on psychology, leadership and public policy, highlighting his h‑index of 216.
