XLRI – Xavier School of Management conducted a Prayer Service and Induction Ceremony at the Tata Auditorium, Jamshedpur, marking the start of the academic journey for the 2026‑28 batch.
The ceremony welcomed 441 students enrolled in Business Management (BM), Human Resource Management (HRM), Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LSCM), Fellow Programme in Management (FPM), and BM International Specialization programmes.
Interfaith readings from the Bhagavad Gita, the Bible, the Guru Granth Sahib, and the Holy Quran highlighted the institute’s commitment to diversity and harmony.
Students took the XLRI Honour Pledge, reaffirming commitments to integrity, ethical conduct, respect for diversity, academic honesty, inclusivity, and societal contribution.
Director Dr. (Fr.) Sebastian George, SJ, addressed the cohort emphasizing curiosity, compassion, collaborative leadership, and values‑driven impact on society.
Dean of Academics Dr. Sanjay Patro highlighted the Jesuit principle of “magis”, urging students to strive for greater excellence and service.
The event concluded with the National Anthem and informal interactions among students, parents, faculty, and administrators.
