Yes Madam Announces 0% Commission for All Service Partners on Raksha Bandhan
Yes Madam, described as India’s leading at‑home salon and wellness platform, issued a press release on 28 August 2026 stating that on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan it will charge a 0% commission to its entire network of more than 10,000 service partners. Consequently, every partner will retain 100% of the earnings from bookings completed on that day.
The company highlighted that women make up roughly 90% of its gig‑workforce and that the initiative is intended to recognise and support female partners, including single mothers and those without immediate family support. Previously, only high‑performing partners who met defined performance benchmarks were eligible for a 0% commission arrangement; the current offer extends the benefit to all partners irrespective of category or tenure.
In comments, Aditya Arya, Co‑Founder and CEO of Yes Madam, said the move is not driven by business impact but by a desire to acknowledge the commitment of partners who continue to deliver services on the festive day, thereby creating greater value for them and their families. He urged other brands to consider similar initiatives that place partners’ earnings and long‑term well‑being at the centre.
The announcement builds on a broader suite of support measures that Yes Madam has introduced over the years, which include 0% commission for pregnant service partners, free health check‑ups, interest‑free loans, education support, accidental term insurance, lower‑commission categories, and experiential events.
Founded in 2016, Yes Madam operates in more than 55 cities across India, offering salon and spa services through trained professionals who use hygienic, single‑use product formats. The press release was distributed under an arrangement with Newsvoir, with PTI noting no editorial responsibility for the content.
