Appointment of Yogesh Sharma (Shelly) as National Advisor, BRICS CCI
On August 17, 2026, in New Delhi, the appointment letter designating Yogesh Sharma (Shelly) as National Advisor of the BRICS Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BRICS CCI) was formally presented by Sameep Shastri, Chairman of BRICS CCI. The appointment recognises Sharma’s extensive experience and contributions in sports administration, youth development, and international engagement.
Sharma has been actively involved in sports development and a range of national and international initiatives, focusing on athlete development, talent identification, athlete welfare, and creating structured opportunities for young sporting talent. In his new advisory capacity, he will contribute to initiatives related to youth development, sports, international cooperation, entrepreneurship, and cross‑border collaboration among BRICS nations.
