Yubi Group announced the launch of Pye, a multi‑lender digital platform for retail borrowers, at the Global Fintech Fest 2026 held from September 9‑11 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. The unveiling was highlighted by Mr Ajay Kumar Choudhary, non‑executive chairman of the National Payments Corporation of India and independent director on Yubi’s board, who previously served as an executive director at the Reserve Bank of India.
Pye aggregates a borrower’s application and routes it simultaneously to a network of lending partners, matching each borrower’s profile, loan purpose and timeline to the most suitable lender. The platform currently connects to roughly 80 % of India’s top lending institutions, allowing a single KYC, documentation and disclosure process for the borrower. Compliance with RBI’s digital lending guidelines is built in, including neutral display of offers, full APR disclosure and native‑journey design, and borrower data is shared only with the lenders the borrower selects.
The launch comes as India’s retail loan market is projected to grow 17‑18 % in fiscal 2026 according to CRISIL Intelligence, while the RBI’s June 2026 Financial Stability Report noted that household debt‑to‑GDP stood at 45.5 % as of September 2025, indicating substantial room for credit expansion.
Over the past six years, Yubi’s AI‑powered operating system has facilitated more than ₹3.2 lakh crore in credit across 3.5 crore transactions and enabled ₹80,000 crore in debt collections, reducing collection costs by 57 %. Founded in 2020 by CEO Gaurav Kumar, Yubi Group comprises subsidiaries YuVerse, Accumn, Spocto X, YuCollect and Yubi Wealth, delivering end‑to‑end AI‑based solutions in lending, underwriting, collections and wealth management. The group is backed by investors Peak XV, Insight Partners, Lightspeed, B Capital Group, Dragoneer and TVS Capital.
Yubi plans to extend Pye beyond a dedicated app, integrating it into online storefronts, bill‑payment platforms and other everyday digital services to bring credit to borrowers at the point of need. The platform’s tagline, “One platform. Infinite possibilities.”, reflects its ambition to offer borrowers multiple lender options through a single, compliant interface.
