Zigly Pet Care’s 3rd Happy Pets Day
Zigly Pet Care, India’s first omnichannel pet‑care brand, celebrated the third edition of International Happy Pets Day on Friendship Day, hosting a day‑long event at 35 centres across more than 15 cities. The celebration attracted over 2,500 pets and more than 3,500 pet parents under the theme “Life is Simply, Undeniably Better Together.”
The programme featured complimentary health check‑ups, wellness consultations, and a veterinarian‑led first‑aid workshop for pet parents. A new line of Pet First Aid Kits was launched, reinforcing the brand’s focus on proactive pet healthcare. Service expansion included upgrading the Noida centre to a 24‑hour veterinary facility and providing dedicated veterinary services at the Defence Colony centre. Primary and secondary care capabilities—diagnostics, X‑rays, upgraded surgeries and physiotherapy—were introduced at the DLF Lucknow and Basant Lok centres.
Interactive activities such as a Snuffle Mat challenge, Best Trick Showdown, and Pet Bingo engaged participants, while caricature and photo booths captured memories. The event concluded with the Zigly Pet Care Awards, recognizing inspiring community stories, followed by a group celebration with pet parents, creators and animal lovers.
In line with its community‑welfare focus, Zigly unveiled “Zigly Cares,” a nutritious dry food for community dogs available in 100 g and 1 kg packs; 100 % of the proceeds from each pack will support street‑animal welfare. All ticket‑sale proceeds, amounting to INR 6 lakhs, were transferred to the Zigly Foundation to fund anti‑rabies vaccination, deworming, reflective‑collar drives, rescue operations and adoption facilitation for community dogs.
CEO Saurabh Jain stated that the celebration aimed to deepen the bond between pets and families while expanding the veterinary ecosystem through 24‑hour facilities, dedicated services and the new first‑aid kits. Zigly Pet Care, a subsidiary of Cosmo First Ltd—founded in 1981 by Mr. Ashok Jaipuria—continues to evolve from a pet‑care retailer into a comprehensive pet‑healthcare ecosystem, striving to make high‑quality veterinary care accessible across India.
