Zydus Hospital Ahmedabad announced it has completed over 100 remote‑access scarless thyroid surgeries, a first in Gujarat.
The procedure uses an intra‑oral incision, eliminates visible neck scars, requires no drains, and patients are discharged within 24 hours.
Dr Siddharth Shah highlighted rapid recovery—patients can eat after four hours and return to work the next day.
Zydus operates four Gujarat hospitals, with three more under construction, and has been named ‘Best Hospital’ by Hansa Research for seven years.
