Advantest 139% Profit Surge, Guidance Raised

Advantest posted Q4 FY2026 operating profit of ¥153.1 billion, up 139% YoY and 34% QoQ, beating guidance ¥107.9 bn and estimates ¥118.5 bn.
Sales rose 41% YoY to ¥328.1 billion, 19% QoQ, driven by SoC tester revenue of ¥237.2 billion, a new record.
Gross margin improved to 67.4%, up 7.5 pts YoY and 5.4 pts QoQ; SoC tester market share reached 66% in 2025.
FY2027 guidance raised to ¥1,420 bn sales (+25% YoY), ¥627.5 bn operating profit (+25%) and ¥465.5 bn net profit (+24%); gross margin outlook 63%.
