Advantest Outlook Misses, Shares Drop 7%

Advantest forecast FY2027 operating income 627.5bn yen, below Bloomberg estimate of ~650.8bn yen.
Company expects revenue 1.42tn yen, a 25.8% YoY increase, driven by AI chip tester demand.
FY2026 operating income more than doubled to 499.1bn yen and net profit surged 133% to 375.4bn yen.
Shares fell up to 7% to 29,335 yen, trading 4.5% lower at 30,080 yen after outlook miss.
