AKVA Q2 2026 Financial Results
AKVA, the Norway‑based aquaculture technology company, reported second‑quarter 2026 revenue of NOK 1.19 billion, representing a 2 percent year‑over‑year increase but falling short of the consensus estimate of NOK 1.26 billion. EBIT for the quarter rose 25 percent year‑over‑year to NOK 111 million, exceeding the analyst forecast of NOK 97 million, while EBITDA was NOK 179 million.
Order intake grew 28 percent year‑over‑year, expanding the order backlog to NOK 3 billion, which the company says provides revenue visibility through the remainder of 2026 and into 2027. The Land‑Based segment now accounts for 46 percent of the backlog and was a key driver of both revenue and profitability in the quarter. The Sea‑Based segment benefited from a favourable product mix, contributing to the improved profitability. Management attributed EBIT growth to economies of scale and the overall product‑mix shift, and highlighted positive commercial momentum and an active pipeline supporting future growth.
