Ares Management Q2 2026 Earnings Overview

Ares Management Corporation announced its second‑quarter 2026 results, posting adjusted earnings per share of $1.29 for the quarter ended June 30. This figure missed the analyst consensus of $1.30 by $0.01. Management and other fees totaled $1.12 billion, falling short of the $1.33 billion estimate, while total revenue increased 16% year‑on‑year to $976.4 million.

Fee‑related earnings rose 20% to $491.1 million, up from $409.1 million in the comparable period last year. The firm reported a record $36.4 billion of inflows during the quarter, with net capital inflows of $34.4 billion. Assets under management reached $671.3 billion as of June 30, representing a 17% increase from $572.4 billion a year earlier. Fee‑paying AUM grew 17% year‑on‑year to $409.9 billion, up from $349.6 billion.

Gross capital deployment for the quarter totaled $35.9 billion, up from $26.9 billion in Q2 2025. Deployment by drawdown funds amounted to $15.2 billion, while perpetual capital vehicles deployed $21.0 billion.

The company declared a quarterly dividend of $1.35 per share of Class A and non‑voting common stock, payable on September 30, 2026 to shareholders of record as of September 16, 2026. Following the earnings release, Ares’ stock declined 2.31% in after‑hours trading.

Chief Executive Officer Michael Arougheti stated, “We generated strong second‑quarter results, including another record quarter of fundraising with more than $36 billion of inflows as our clients continue to reward us due to our strong and consistent fund performance across our strategies.”
