Standalone Financial Performance (Q1 FY27 vs. Q1 FY26)

  • Total Income: ₹1,320.4 crores (down 1% from ₹1,339.1 crores YoY)
  • EBITDA: ₹125.5 crores (down 17% from ₹150.7 crores YoY)
  • EBITDA Margin: 9.5% (down from 11.3% YoY)
  • Profit Before Tax (PBT): ₹43.0 crores (down 1% from ₹43.3 crores YoY)
  • Profit After Tax (PAT): ₹31.5 crores (up 3% from ₹30.6 crores YoY)

Order Book and Debt Position (as of June 30, 2026)

  • Order Book: ₹8,302 crores, comprising:
  • Road EPC: ₹6,783 crores
  • Road HAM: ₹1,519 crores

Note: Excludes orders worth ₹451 crores received after June 30, 2026.

  • Standalone Debt: ₹1,173 crores, comprising:

Business and Corporate Updates

1. Dilution of Stake in Ashoka Purestudy Technologies Private Limited (APTPL)

  • The company's subsidiary, APTPL, allotted 29,879 equity shares of ₹10 each on a preferential basis to a new investor on June 12, 2026.
  • Consequently, Ashoka Buildcon's shareholding in APTPL was diluted from 59% to 39.33%.
  • APTPL ceased to be a subsidiary and became an associate company effective June 12, 2026.

2. New Contract Awards

  • Chhattisgarh Gems & Jewellery Park: Received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation Limited (CSIDC). The project is a Joint Venture with Ashoka Buildcon as the lead member holding a 51% stake.
  • Project: Development of a Gems & Jewellery Park under PPP mode in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, over 38,922 sq. mtrs.
  • Accepted Premium: ₹112.40 crore
  • Lease Period: 30 years, extendable up to 90 years
  • Construction Period: 5 years
  • Guyana Highway Project: Received an LOA from the Central Housing and Planning Authority, Guyana.
  • Project: Construction of a Four Lane Highway from Versailles, West Bank Demerara to Parika, East Bank Essequibo, Region No. 3 – Lot 8.
  • Accepted Value: GYD $7,455 million (USD 35.42 million)
  • Execution Period: 20 months

3. Settlement with NHAI

  • The company has settled the Show Cause Notice dated November 26, 2025, issued by NHAI.
  • A Settlement Agreement was entered into with NHAI.
  • NHAI agreed to close all proceedings with no further action, including withdrawal of suspension and confirmation of no debarment.
  • The settlement was against a payment of ₹1.04 crore by Ashoka Buildcon, which was deposited with NHAI on July 9, 2026.

4. Incorporation of New SPV

  • Incorporated a new Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), 'Ashoka - RDB Infrastructure & Development Private Limited', on July 15, 2026.
  • The SPV is a joint venture with RDB Real Estate Constructions Limited.
  • Ashoka Buildcon holds a 51% stake in the SPV.
  • The SPV was formed for the Development of the Gems & Jewellery Park under PPP mode at Krishi Upaj Mandi, Mandi Road, Pandri, Raipur (Chhattisgarh).
  • The company has subscribed to 5,100 equity shares aggregating ₹51,000.

5. Extension of SPV Sale Timeline

  • The company, along with Ashoka Concessions Limited (ACL) and the Proposed Investor (Epic Concesiones 2 Private Limited / Infrastructure Yield Plus II & IIA, managed by EAAA India Alternatives Limited), has mutually agreed to extend the indicative timelines for the completion of the sale of the remaining six SPVs.
  • The new indicative completion dates are:
  • Up to September 15, 2026: For SPVs TS-1, TS-2, and TS-3 (where major construction works are complete).
  • Up to September 30, 2026: For the BS SPV.
  • The completion is subject to the fulfilment of conditions precedent and requisite regulatory/lender approvals.
