Key Business Milestones and Regulatory Approvals
The company achieved 11 new regulatory approvals from the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) in FY 2025-26:
Durvalumab Approvals:
- Endometrial Cancer: Approved for first-line treatment of adults with primary advanced or recurrent endometrial cancer in combination with carboplatin and paclitaxel, followed by maintenance with Durvalumab and Olaparib for pMMR cancers.
- Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer (MIBC): Approved as adjuvant treatment following radical cystectomy for adult patients.
- Gastric Cancer: Approved in January 2026 in combination with FLOT chemotherapy as perioperative treatment for adults with resectable gastric or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma.
- Liver Cancer: Durvalumab plus tremelimumab received expanded approval in March 2026 for first-line treatment of unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma.
Other Key Approvals and Launches:
- Eculizumab: Launched as the first anti-complement therapy approved in India for the treatment of atypical Haemolytic Uremic Syndrome (aHUS) and Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria (PNH).
- Osimertinib: Received approval for an additional indication in combination with pemetrexed and platinum-based chemotherapy for first-line treatment of locally advanced or metastatic NSCLC with EGFR exon 19 deletions or exon 21 (L858R) mutations. Also gained approval as monotherapy for locally advanced, unresectable (stage III) NSCLC with the same mutations.
- Trastuzumab deruxtecan: Approved for an additional indication in HER2-low and HER2-ultralow metastatic breast cancer patients who have received at least one endocrine therapy.
- Benralizumab: Approved for an additional indication as an add-on treatment for adult patients with relapsing or refractory eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA).
- Sodium Zirconium Cyclosilicate (5g/10g): Received CDSCO permission for import and sale in India for the management of hyperkalaemia in adults, in partnership with Sun Pharma.
