Margin Analysis
EBITDA margin improved sequentially by 89 basis points from 7.22% in Q1 FY27 to 8.11% in Q2 FY27. However, margins remained below the 9.72% achieved in Q2 FY26. The company attributed lower H1 FY27 margins primarily to elevated costs arising from the impact of the war during Q1 and business mix changes.
Performance Drivers
The sequential recovery in Q2 was driven by higher customer volumes and improved manufacturing utilization. The company expects margins to improve further in H2 FY27, driven by higher capacity utilization, improved fixed-overhead absorption, and continued focus on operational efficiencies.
Management Commentary
Mr. Shivaji Akhade, Managing Director, stated: "Q2 FY27 marks an important inflection point in Autoline's operating performance, reflecting stronger business momentum, improving capacity utilisation and a sequential recovery in profitability. The Company's strategic focus is now firmly on converting revenue growth into sustainable margins, improved cash generation and long-term stakeholder value."
Strategic Priorities for H2 FY27
The company outlined four execution priorities for the second half of FY27:
1. Protecting delivery performance for expanding CV and PV programmes
2. Recovering input-cost and conversion margins through customer price revisions, VAVE and procurement measures
