Management Commentary

Simon Wiebusch, Vice Chairman & Managing Director and CEO, stated that Q2 reflected a challenging operating environment with uneven monsoon affecting sowing patterns and crop protection demand, alongside lower corn acreages. The company remained focused on disciplined execution, strengthening its portfolio, and scaling new innovations. The priority is to help farmers improve productivity and resilience through innovations and partnerships across the agricultural ecosystem.

Vinit Jindal, Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer, noted that Profit After Tax increased by 9% in Q2 and 13% in H1, supported by improved gross margins reflecting favorable production yields for corn seeds and cost efficiencies. Higher corn seed production volumes combined with weaker market demand resulted in increased inventory. Market liquidity pressures led to delayed collections and marginally higher receivables. The company remains focused on disciplined working capital management and strengthening cash generation.

Corporate Action

The Board of Directors at its meeting held on November 03, 2026 declared an interim dividend of ₹90 per equity share for the financial year ending March 31, 2027. The total dividend amount is ₹4,045 million.
