Bittium Q2 2026 Results: 60% Revenue Growth Driven by Defence Orders
Bittium Oyj, a Finland‑based secure communications provider, announced that its second‑quarter 2026 net sales reached €36.6 million, representing a 60.1% increase compared with the same quarter in the prior year. Earnings per share for the quarter were €0.18. Net income amounted to €6.4 million, while operating profit stood at €8.1 million and EBITDA was €10.1 million.
The revenue surge was primarily attributed to higher product deliveries in the Defence & Security segment. During the quarter, Bittium secured a €14 million purchase order from the Finnish Defence Forces for next‑generation radios, underscoring the strength of its defence‑related portfolio. Conversely, the Engineering Services segment experienced a decline in net sales due to weak market conditions, as noted by the chief executive.
In addition to the financial results, Bittium announced an additional dividend of €0.15 per share for its shareholders.
Looking ahead, the company projected full‑year 2026 net sales in the range of €140 million to €155 million and operating profit between €26 million and €32 million. Bittium indicated that it expects both net sales and operating profit to be concentrated in the second half of the year.
