Brenntag SE Raises 2026 EBITDA Guidance

Brenntag SE shares climbed more than 2% after the company announced an upward revision of its full‑year 2026 operating EBITDA outlook. The new guidance targets EBITDA between €1.35 billion and €1.45 billion, compared with the previous range of €1.25 billion to €1.40 billion.

The increase is attributed to a continuously positive start to the third quarter of 2026 and supportive preliminary results for the second quarter. In the second quarter, Brenntag reported operating EBITDA of approximately €450 million, which exceeded the analyst consensus mean of €366.9 million compiled by Vara Research from eight analysts.

Following those preliminary results, the company had already raised its 2026 EBITDA outlook on June 22 to €1.25 billion‑€1.40 billion from an earlier €1.15 billion‑€1.35 billion range. Despite the latest upgrade, Brenntag maintains a cautious outlook because of continued uncertainty and the risk of weaker demand in the second half of the year.

Brenntag will publish its half‑year 2026 financial report on 12 August 2026.
