Announcement
British IT solutions provider Bytes Technology Group plc announced its financial results for the six months ended 31 August 2026.
Financial Performance
Operating profit increased 6.6% year‑on‑year to £35.3 million, up from £33.1 million in the comparable period. Revenue grew 18.7% to £128.3 million. Gross invoiced income rose 19.6% to £1.61 billion. The interim dividend was lifted 3.1% to 3.3 pence per share.
Segment Highlights
Services gross invoiced income surged 41% versus the prior year. Gross profit in the public‑sector segment expanded 23.1%, while the private‑sector segment saw a 14.6% increase. Higher employee and administrative expenses partially offset the gross profit growth.
Acquisition
In early October, Bytes completed the acquisition of cybersecurity services provider CyberOne for an initial consideration of £19.4 million. The deal is expected to enhance Bytes’ managed security services, cyber‑resilience consulting and professional services capabilities.
Outlook and Guidance
Bytes reaffirmed its upgraded full‑year guidance, targeting gross profit growth in the low‑to‑mid‑teens percentage range and operating profit growth in the low‑to‑mid single‑digit range, excluding any contribution from CyberOne. The company also indicated that changes to Microsoft partner incentives effective October are expected to be positive and have already been incorporated into its guidance.
