Central Bank of India reported a 30% YoY decline in Q4 net profit to ₹724 crore, primarily due to a one-time ₹632 crore deferred tax asset adjustment.
The bank achieved strong business growth with total business up 15.6% to ₹812,439 crore and advances growing 18.76% to ₹344,516 crore.
Asset quality improved with gross NPA at 2.67% (down 51 bps YoY) and net NPA at 0.49% (down 6 bps), while maintaining 96% provision coverage.
Management provided FY27 guidance of 14-16% credit growth, 10-12% deposit growth, and NIM above 3%, while preparing for ECL transition by April 2027.
