Credit Agricole Q2 2026 Earnings Overview

Credit Agricole S.A. announced its second‑quarter 2026 financial results on 31 July 2026. Net income attributable to shareholders increased 1.4 % year‑on‑year to €2.05 billion (approximately $2.36 billion). Total revenue rose 7.7 % to a record €7.36 billion, and gross operating income climbed 11.4 % to €3.49 billion, while operating expenses grew at a slower rate.

The bank highlighted that all business lines delivered growth. Corporate and investment banking revenue grew 4.4 % driven by strong fixed‑income trading and financing activities. Asset servicing revenue increased 8.4 % on higher assets under custody and administration.

Chief Executive Officer Olivier Gavalda said the results reflected strong momentum across the group and noted continued acceleration of the bank’s artificial‑intelligence strategy and digital transformation.

Capital strength remained robust, with a Common Equity Tier 1 (CET1) ratio of 11.3 % for Credit Agricole S.A. and 17.2 % for the broader group. The board declared an interim cash dividend of €0.57 per share, payable on 15 October 2026.
