US Domino's Pizza Inc (NASDAQ:DPZ) dropped 8.8% as profit and same-store sales missed expectations, citing sluggish international sales.
CEO Russell Weiner said the underperformance of Domino's Pizza Enterprises in Australia, NZ, Japan and Asia‑Pacific drove the earnings miss.
The franchisee, Domino's largest global partner, may post weak annual earnings when results are released in late July/August.
