Fisher & Paykel Raises FY27 Guidance NZ$525‑565m
Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Corporation announced on 21 August 2026 that it has increased its full‑year 2027 net profit after‑tax guidance to a range of approximately NZ$525 million to NZ$565 million, compared with the prior range of about NZ$500 million to NZ$550 million disclosed in May. The operating revenue guidance for the same fiscal year was also modestly raised to a band of roughly NZ$2.47 billion to NZ$2.57 billion, up from the earlier NZ$2.45 billion to NZ$2.57 billion range.
For the six‑month period ending 30 September 2026, the medical‑device maker forecast first‑half revenue of about NZ$1.24 billion and net profit after tax of around NZ$280 million, reflecting year‑on‑year growth of 14 % in reported operating revenue and 24 % in net profit. Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Lewis Gradon said the company enjoyed a strong start to the first half, particularly in its Hospital product group, driven by robust demand for its latest hardware devices and by clinical‑practice changes that boosted consumable sales.
Following the guidance update, Fisher & Paykel shares rose more than 1 % in both Australian and New Zealand trading sessions.
