Foxconn Q2 Revenue Surge Driven by AI Demand
Foxconn, formally Hon Hai Precision Industry (TW:2317), announced that its revenue for the April‑June quarter rose 39.8% year‑on‑year to T$2.513 trillion (approximately US$78.71 billion). This figure exceeded the Reuters/LSEG consensus estimate of T$2.372 trillion.
The company attributed the increase to robust demand for artificial‑intelligence‑related products, specifically cloud and networking equipment used in data‑center and server applications. The consumer‑electronics segment also posted strong growth, reflecting continued resilience in end‑user spending.
Foxconn highlighted its role as the largest server assembler for NVIDIA Corporation and as Apple Inc.’s principal iPhone assembler, underscoring its position in the global technology supply chain.
Despite the upbeat results, Foxconn cautioned that ongoing geopolitical and economic volatility could affect future performance, though no specific risks were detailed.
The firm expects AI rack shipments to continue growing in the current quarter, and seasonal trends are projected to further support consumer‑electronics sales.
