Fujitsu Ltd reported its June quarter (Q2 FY2026) consolidated sales increased 4% year‑over‑year, surpassing market expectations.
Adjusted operating profit rose 56% YoY, delivering an adjusted operating profit margin of 7%, which is 230 basis points higher than the prior year.
The Service Solutions division generated a 7% YoY increase in sales and a 31% YoY rise in operating profit; its operating profit margin reached 11.4%, up 210 basis points year‑over‑year. Domestic sales within the segment grew 8% YoY, driven by demand for digital transformation and modernization services. The high‑value‑added IT service offering Uvance posted a 31% YoY sales increase and now accounts for 35% of Service Solutions sales. Domestic IT orders on an underlying basis grew 8% YoY, supported by public‑sector, defence and manufacturing demand. Overseas sales in Service Solutions rose 4% YoY but were flat on a constant‑currency basis.
The Hardware division recorded an operating loss of 5 billion yen, despite a 5% YoY rise in sales; its operating profit margin turned negative 1.8%, a deterioration of 250 basis points from the previous year.
