Geberit H1 2026 Performance Overview
Geberit, the Swiss manufacturer of sanitary products, announced that net sales for the first half of 2026 increased by 2.8% year‑on‑year, which corresponds to a 5.9% growth on a currency‑adjusted basis. EBITDA rose 3.0% to CHF 529 million, and the EBITDA margin stayed at the prior‑year level despite a sharp rise in direct material prices that put pressure on results. The company attributed the sales increase primarily to volume growth, while price increases helped mitigate the impact of higher material costs and adverse currency movements. Geberit highlighted that material price inflation weighed on profitability during the period.
Looking ahead, Geberit projected full‑year 2026 net sales growth in local currencies of between 5% and 6%, and indicated that the EBITDA margin is expected to remain around the level recorded in the previous year.
