Globe Enterprises (India) Limited – Q1 FY27 Results
Globe Enterprises (India) Limited, previously known as Globe Textiles (India) Limited, announced its financial performance for the first quarter of FY27. The company recorded revenue of INR 166.68 crore, representing a 32.7% year‑on‑year increase from INR 125.56 crore in Q1 FY26. Total revenue for the quarter was reported as INR 167.35 crore.
EBITDA for Q1 FY27 was INR 8.54 crore, a 5.5% decline compared with INR 9.04 crore in the same quarter last year. Profit before tax (PBT) fell to INR 3.52 crore, down 20.6% from INR 4.44 crore a year earlier.
The company attributed the pressure on profitability to a 15‑20% rise in raw material costs together with higher logistics and shipping expenses. Despite these cost pressures, Globe Enterprises entered Q2 FY27 with an order book exceeding INR 100 crore, which it said provides visibility for the upcoming quarter.
FY26 Performance and Strategic Moves
During FY26, the company achieved 55% revenue growth, reaching INR 598.84 crore. EBITDA for FY26 was INR 31.74 crore and PBT stood at INR 12.79 crore. In FY26 the firm changed its name from Globe Textiles (India) Limited to Globe Enterprises (India) Limited to reflect a broader strategic vision that includes expansion into fashion, apparel, technical textiles, chemicals and allied businesses.
Globe Enterprises also completed the acquisition of Globe Denwash, enhancing its value‑added capabilities. The company highlighted that newly commissioned garment manufacturing capacity, added in the previous year, enables it to serve higher volumes in both domestic and export markets.
