GSP Crop Science Limited announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1FY27) through a regulatory filing submitted to BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

Financial Performance

Revenue from Operations stood at ₹3,860 million in Q1FY27 compared to ₹3,770 million in Q1FY26, representing a 2% year-on-year growth. The company reported stable revenue with strong momentum in domestic business partially offset by temporary raw material availability constraints impacting international sales.

Gross Profit increased by 10% YoY to ₹1,424 million from ₹1,299 million in the corresponding quarter last year. Gross Profit Margin improved to 36.9% from 34.5%, primarily due to improved product mix.

EBITDA remained nearly flat at ₹425 million compared to ₹424 million in Q1FY26. EBITDA Margin stood at 11.0% versus 11.2% in the previous year.

Profit After Tax (PAT) showed significant growth, increasing by 17% to ₹264 million from ₹226 million in Q1FY26. PAT Margin improved to 6.8% from 6.0%.

Operational Highlights and Cost Structure

Employee costs increased on a YoY basis due to higher employee base and annual increments. Other expenses were higher compared to the corresponding period last year, driven by the commencement of operations at the new subsidiary unit and foreign exchange movements.

Other income increased mainly due to profit on sale of lease land. Interest cost reduced due to prepayment of term loan.

Corporate Actions and Subsidiary Update

On June 11, 2026, GSP Crop Science Limited completed the acquisition of the remaining 21% equity stake in GSP Intermediates Private Limited (GIPL). Following this acquisition, GSP's holding in GIPL increased to 100%, making GIPL a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.

Manufacturing Infrastructure Development

During Q1FY27, the Company capitalized its warehouse at Saykha GIDC. Additionally, GIPL fully commissioned its ETP & MEEA plant at Saykha GIDC, further strengthening the company's manufacturing infrastructure.

Management Commentary

Bhavesh Shah, Chairman and Managing Director, commented that the Revenue from Operations was stable mainly due to healthy growth across domestic B2C and B2B businesses despite a volatile operating environment. The international business was relatively muted due to limited availability of certain raw materials. The industry witnessed volatility in raw material prices along with supply constraints during the quarter.

Shah noted that the company's longstanding industry experience, market leadership and strong supplier relationships enabled effective navigation of these challenges. He expressed confidence in the long-term prospects of the industry and company, mentioning a strong pipeline of products which will be filed for patent.
