Hilton Q3 2026 Results Overview
Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc. (NYSE:HLT) posted third‑quarter 2026 results that beat earnings expectations but missed revenue forecasts. Adjusted earnings per share came in at $2.45, surpassing the analyst consensus of $2.35 by $0.10. Revenue for the quarter was $3.33 billion, falling short of the $3.36 billion estimate, although it represented a 6.4% year‑over‑year increase from $3.12 billion in Q3 2025.
System‑wide comparable revenue per available room (RevPAR) rose 5.8% on a currency‑neutral basis versus the same period last year, driven by higher occupancy and average daily rate. The company added 27,000 rooms during the quarter, of which 23,000 were net additions, resulting in a 6.0% net unit growth compared with the September 30, 2025 baseline.
Shareholders received $879 million through share repurchases and dividends in the quarter. Despite the earnings beat, the stock declined 2.68% in pre‑market trading after the release.
For the full year 2026, Hilton lowered its adjusted EBITDA guidance to a range of $4.06 billion to $4.08 billion, with a midpoint of $4.07 billion, below analyst expectations. The guidance reflects reduced outlook for performance in the Middle East and lower timeshare license fee contributions. The company projects system‑wide comparable RevPAR to increase between 4.0% and 4.5% on a currency‑neutral basis versus 2025, adjusted earnings per share of $9.07 to $9.13, and net income of $1.91 billion to $1.92 billion for the full year.
"We delivered strong top and bottom‑line results for the third quarter that exceeded our expectations," said Christopher J. Nassetta, President and Chief Executive Officer. "Our results were driven by momentum across our system, which we expect to continue for the remainder of the year and into 2027."
