Kforce Inc. Q2 2026 Results

Kforce Inc. (NYSE:KFRC) posted second‑quarter 2026 adjusted earnings per share of $0.73, beating the consensus estimate of $0.60. Revenue reached $349.3 million, surpassing the $347.71 million forecast and representing a 4.5 % year‑over‑year increase from $334.3 million in the comparable prior‑year quarter.

The company’s gross profit margin expanded to 28.5 %, up 140 basis points year‑over‑year and 120 basis points sequentially, while operating margin rose to 5.4 %, an improvement of 90 basis points year‑over‑year.

Segment‑level performance showed Technology Flex revenue growing 4.0 % year‑over‑year, and Finance and Accounting Flex revenue increasing 6.0 % year‑over‑year.

For the third quarter, Kforce guided revenue between $349 million and $357 million, with a midpoint of $353 million, exceeding the consensus estimate of $350.8 million. Third‑quarter EPS guidance was set at $0.71‑$0.79, midpoint $0.75, above the consensus of $0.70.

Shares closed the trading day up 5.46 % but fell 2.8 % in after‑hours trading following the release. During the quarter the company returned $9.6 million to shareholders via share repurchases and dividends, and the board approved a third‑quarter dividend of $0.40 per share payable on September 25, 2026.
