Korn Ferry Q1 FY2027 Results Overview

Korn Ferry (NYSE:KFY) posted first‑quarter fiscal 2027 results that beat analyst expectations. Adjusted earnings per share were $1.43, surpassing the consensus estimate of $1.36 by $0.07. Fee revenue reached $756.5 million, a 7% year‑over‑year increase and above the $736.76 million forecast, with growth across all regions and double‑digit expansion in the Search and Workforce Solutions segments, which grew 10% and 11% respectively. Net income attributable to Korn Ferry rose to $69.0 million, delivering a 9.1% profit margin, up 4% from $66.6 million in the comparable prior‑year period. Adjusted EBITDA climbed to $128.2 million, representing a 17.0% margin and a 7% YoY increase.

The company provided guidance for the second quarter of fiscal 2027, projecting fee revenue between $860 million and $878 million and an adjusted EBITDA margin ranging from 16.8% to 17.2%. Adjusted diluted EPS is expected to fall in the $1.30 to $1.40 range, with a midpoint of $1.35, which is below the Wall Street consensus of $1.48. The guidance incorporates two months of results from the recently acquired AMS business, which closed on September 1, 2026.

Shares slipped 0.17% in pre‑market trading following the release. CEO Gary D. Burnison said, "I am very pleased with our quarterly performance. This marks our sixth consecutive quarter of top‑line growth, demonstrating the momentum and durability of our business."
