KRAFTON, Inc. announced its consolidated Q2 2026 financial results, reporting record revenue of KRW 1.29 trillion, a 94.9% increase year‑over‑year, and operating profit of KRW 410.9 billion, up 67.0% YoY. The figures represent all‑time highs for the second quarter.

Segment Performance

Revenue by business segment was led by PC, which generated KRW 560.4 billion, a 155.1% YoY surge and marked the first quarter where PC revenue surpassed KRW 500 billion. Mobile contributed KRW 451 billion, up 5.5% YoY, while console revenue rose to KRW 23.8 billion, a 143.3% increase. The “others” category expanded dramatically to KRW 255 billion, reflecting a 5,010.6% YoY jump.

PUBG IP Franchise

The PUBG IP franchise delivered a 25% YoY increase in first‑half 2026 revenue, driven by new PC modes such as Xeno Point and PAYDAY and continued solid growth on mobile through PUBG MOBILE and BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI). KRAFTON highlighted ongoing expansion of the franchise into a content platform, leveraging global IP collaborations, automotive and K‑pop brand partnerships, and a growing user‑generated content (UGC) ecosystem built around World of Wonder (WOW). Future plans include upgraded creation tools, integration of external IPs like Naruto and Spider‑Man, and a new in‑game currency to reward creators.

Subnautica IP

Subnautica 2 entered Early Access in May and reached 5 million cumulative units sold within 22 days, earning a “Very Positive” rating on Steam and ranking among the best‑selling titles globally for 2026. First‑half revenue from the Subnautica IP family (including Subnautica 2, Subnautica, and Subnautica: Below Zero) totaled KRW 232.5 billion. KRAFTON intends to maintain stable service through the full launch and develop Subnautica into a long‑term franchise.

New Titles at Gamescom 2026

At Gamescom 2026 in August, KRAFTON will unveil five new titles slated for release by 2027: a new project based on the PUBG IP, NO LAW, Project ZETA, Age Twisters, and TARAE: The Unbound. These announcements signal the company’s expanding global production pipeline and its strategy to discover and scale promising IPs.

Shareholder Returns

During the first half of 2026, KRAFTON repurchased KRW 300 billion of treasury shares, cancelled a total of KRW 431.5 billion (including shares bought in Q2), and distributed a KRW 99.6 billion capital‑reduction dividend. The company reaffirmed its commitment to an active shareholder‑return policy aimed at enhancing shareholder value.

On a consolidated basis (unit: KRW 100 million), Q2 2026 revenue was 12,902 versus Q1 2026’s 13,714, a QoQ decline of 5.9%; YoY revenue rose from 6,620 in Q2 2025, a 94.9% increase. Operating profit was 4,109 in Q2 2026, down 26.8% QoQ from 5,616 in Q1 2026, but up 67.0% YoY from 2,460 in Q2 2025.

KRAFTON India Highlights

In India, KRAFTON oversees premier mobile titles including BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI), which has surpassed 200 million downloads, as well as Bullet Echo India, Road To Valor: Empires, and CookieRun India. Since 2021, the company has invested over US$200 million in Indian startups across interactive entertainment, gaming, esports, and technology, and supports the ecosystem through the KRAFTON India Gaming Incubator (KIGI) and flagship esports events such as the BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA SERIES (BGIS) and PRO SERIES (BMPS).
