MAG Interactive Q3 Results
MAG Interactive, the Sweden‑based mobile game developer, announced third‑quarter net sales of SEK 65.30 million, representing a 4 % increase over the same quarter last year. The growth was primarily attributed to the resurgence of its Crozzle game, which delivered higher average revenue per daily active user and confirmed crosswords as a viable growth segment.
Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) for the quarter amounted to SEK 13.40 million. The adjusted earnings per share (EPS) loss narrowed to SEK 0.06, improving from a larger loss recorded in the comparable period of the prior year.
During the quarter the company increased its spending on user acquisition, a move that supported the revenue uplift but exerted pressure on the EBITDA margin in the short term. MAG Interactive also highlighted ongoing investments in its technology platform and the application of artificial intelligence, which it says have enhanced operational efficiency and accelerated product development.
Looking ahead, MAG Interactive indicated that it will continue to raise user‑acquisition investment, guided by its long‑term profitability targets.
