Mapfre posted Q1 2026 net profit of €310.9 million, up 12.7% YoY from €275.9 million.
Premiums fell to €8.39 billion from €8.58 billion, pressured by U.S. dollar depreciation.
Growth driven by strong non‑life insurance performance, no major catastrophe losses, and higher investment income from yields and gains.
Mapfre shares slipped 0.5% after the results were released.
