Nava Limited Announces Record Quarterly Results
On August 14, 2026, Nava Limited, headquartered in Hyderabad, released its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company reported a consolidated total income of ₹1,269 crore, the highest quarterly total ever recorded, with revenue from operations climbing 6.0% QoQ to ₹1,212 crore.
Energy revenue increased 18.3% QoQ, benefitting from healthy plant load factors and the availability of bilateral contracts. Mining revenue rose 20.4% QoQ, driven by higher sales volumes. Dividend income of US$15 million was received from Nava Global during the quarter.
The consolidated profit before tax (PBT) before exceptional items surged 92.9% QoQ to ₹480 crore, while profit after tax (PAT) reached ₹333 crore. EBITDA stood at ₹584 crore. Standalone figures showed revenue from operations of ₹522 crore, total income of ₹689 crore, EBITDA before exceptional items of ₹319 crore, PBT of ₹309 crore, and PAT of ₹266 crore.
ZESCO’s arrears were reduced to US$13.4 million after the company realized US$15 million from ZESCO during the quarter.
Business & Project Updates
Energy – The MEL Phase II 300 MW project is scheduled for phased commissioning by July 2027, despite cost pressures from the West Asia crisis affecting supply chains and equipment delivery. MEL indicated it can absorb the marginal capex increase. Maamba Solar Energy Limited’s 100 MW solar project is expected to commence commercial operations by September 2026.
Mining – Exploration continues at a 360 sq km concession in Côte d’Ivoire for manganese, with progress toward an exploitation permit. Exploration for lithium and tantalum is also ongoing across Africa, expanding the company’s resource base beyond coal.
Agribusiness – Nava Avocado Limited aims to complete total plantation activity across all divisions by the end of FY27/Q1 FY28, with a state‑of‑the‑art packhouse slated for commissioning in October 2026 ahead of the FY27 harvest. Kawambwa Sugar Limited reports steady sugarcane plantation under pivot irrigation, with equipment supplies from India and accelerated construction; the integrated sugar‑cane estate, co‑generation plant, and distillery are targeted for commissioning by March 2028.
