Nissan Motor Co. lifted its FY2025-26 operating outlook to a ¥50 billion profit, up from an expected ¥60 billion loss.
The revision stems mainly from a one‑time reversal of U.S. greenhouse‑gas regulation provisions, plus cost cuts and favorable FX.
Mizuho had projected a ¥50 billion GHG impact and a ¥10 billion loss, noting the actual impact may exceed its estimate.
Nissan will detail the drivers of the upgraded outlook at its results announcement on May 13, 2026.
