Orient Green Power reported its highest-ever annual net profit of ₹71.57 Cr, up 70% YoY, driven by favorable wind patterns and interest cost reductions.
The company commissioned its first 7 MW solar plant, expanded wind capacity by 9.9 MW, and initiated repowering of old turbines under Tamil Nadu's new policy.
Total income grew 13% to ₹315.57 Cr while interest costs fell 21% to ₹57.18 Cr, aided by a ₹16 Cr refund of excess interest from prior years.
Management anticipates sustained growth from ongoing solar (17.6 MW contracted) and wind repowering projects, with returns expected from FY2026-27.
