Interim Financial Performance

RoboSense Technology Co., Ltd. reported first‑half 2026 revenue of approximately RMB 1.02 billion, a 30.2% increase year‑over‑year. Total LiDAR shipments reached 719,200 units, up 169.6% YoY, while shipments of robotics‑focused LiDAR surged 510.4% YoY to 282,600 units, underscoring the robotics segment as the core growth engine.

Product Commercialization and Technology Advances

During the period the company unveiled its EOCENE SPAD‑SoC architecture together with two new chipsets, Phoenix and Peacock. The E2 LiDAR, the first mass‑production model using the self‑developed Peacock chipset, entered full‑scale volume production and began customer deliveries.

The firm also expanded its portfolio beyond LiDAR into three new robotics component categories—"Eyes," "Skin," and "Muscles."

  • Eyes: The Space Camera, demonstrated at ICRA and WAIC in head‑mounted and wrist‑mounted forms and used in data‑collection systems, will start customer deliveries by the end of Q3 2026, with full‑scale production planned for 2027.
  • Skin: Visual‑tactile and MEMS tactile sensors have completed development; an enterprise‑scale program will commence commercial delivery by the end of September 2026 and reach start‑of‑production in Q4 2026.
  • Muscles: The first joint module has completed development, with volume deliveries scheduled to begin in Q4 2026.

Business Outlook

For the second half of 2026, RoboSense will continue iterating its SPAD‑SoC chips built on the EOCENE architecture, launch additional digital LiDAR products, and advance testing and conversion of the Space Camera. Skin‑related tactile sensors are set for Q3 2026 deliveries, while Muscles‑related joint modules will start volume shipments in Q4 2026. The company expects its expanding suite of robotic components to drive further customer wins and broader growth in 2027, contributing to profitability as the robotics business scales.

Corporate and Market Position

CEO Mark Qiu stated that 2026 marks a pivotal inflection point, moving the company from a LiDAR‑centric identity to a broader robotics‑technology platform focused on "eyes" and critical "hand" components. Since June 30 2026, there has been no material adverse change in the company’s financial or trading position. RoboSense serves more than 3,400 robotics clients worldwide and held the No. 1 global market share in robotics LiDAR in 2025.
