RTL Group Raises 2026 Revenue Outlook

RTL Group (ETR:RRTL) announced on 11 August 2026 that its full‑year 2026 revenue projection has been increased to a range of €7.1 billion to €7.2 billion (approximately $8.20 billion to $8.32 billion). This revision follows the completion of its acquisition of Sky Deutschland in June and lifts the prior March guidance of €6.1 billion to €6.2 billion. The company maintained its adjusted earnings before interest, taxes and amortisation (EBITA) guidance at roughly €725 million for the full year.

The broadcaster reported first‑half revenue of €2.9 billion, representing a near‑4 % increase year‑on‑year, while organic revenue was essentially flat. Adjusted EBITA for the January‑June period reached €239 million, an increase of almost 50 % compared with €160 million recorded in the same period last year.

Sky Deutschland, which began to be consolidated in the June accounts, added €61 million of adjusted EBITDA. RTL noted that this contribution was higher than typical because the business no longer incurs Bundesliga production and licensing costs. The company expects Sky Deutschland to be broadly break‑even for the full 2026 fiscal year.

Outlook and Guidance

The revised revenue range of €7.1‑€7.2 billion reflects the expanded revenue base after the Sky Deutschland integration. The unchanged adjusted EBITA guidance of around €725 million indicates that the company anticipates the additional EBITDA from Sky Deutschland to be offset by other cost considerations.
