Management Commentary
Mr. Harsha Kadam, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, commented on the results. He stated the performance was strong and backed by strong demand traction from the automotive sector and a stronger-than-expected industrial output in the country. Both intercompany exports and the domestic business registered double-digit growth rates. He noted that earnings quality was marginally impacted by rising input costs and a weakening Indian Rupee (INR), but stated that the company's mitigation measures helped manage the impact partially. He concluded by stating that, backed by the company's order book and an on-track capex framework, they look forward to delivering value to all stakeholders.
