Financial Performance Highlights
Consolidated (SFL + subsidiaries):
- Total Revenue: ₹1,032 crore in Q1 FY27, up 26% YoY from ₹821 crore in Q1 FY26.
- EBITDA: ₹109 crore in Q1 FY27, up 45% YoY from ₹75 crore. EBITDA margin expanded by 139 basis points to 10.6% from 9.2%.
- PAT: ₹62 crore in Q1 FY27, compared to ₹7 crore in Q1 FY26. PAT margin was 6.0%.
- Other Comprehensive Income: ₹-6 crore.
- Total Comprehensive Income: ₹57 crore.
- Basic/Diluted EPS: ₹6.5.
Standalone (SFL + KEL):
- Total Revenue: ₹761 crore in Q1 FY27, up 20% YoY from ₹635 crore. This is the first time Q1 revenue has exceeded ₹1,000 crore on a consolidated basis and ₹750 crore on a standalone basis.
- EBITDA: ₹68 crore in Q1 FY27, up 13% YoY from ₹60 crore. EBITDA margin was 9.0%, down 51 bps from 9.5%.
- PAT: ₹44 crore in Q1 FY27, up from ₹11 crore in Q1 FY26. PAT margin was 5.8%.
- Other Comprehensive Income: ₹-3 crore.
- Total Comprehensive Income: ₹41 crore.
- Basic/Diluted EPS: ₹4.0.
Operational Highlights Q1 FY27
Volume and Value Growth:
- Mattress volume grew 6% YoY to 859K units; value grew 15% YoY to ₹369 crore.
- Foam volume grew 4% YoY to 11,764 Tn; value grew 26% YoY to ₹365 crore.
- Within the Foam segment:
- Technical Foam: Volume up 2% to 4,579 Tn; Value up 28% to ₹163 crore.
- Comfort Foam: Volume up 10% to 6,129 Tn; Value up 38% to ₹156 crore.
- Furniture Cushioning: Volume down 17% to 1,057 Tn; Value down 5% to ₹46 crore.
- Others segment value grew 16% YoY to ₹27 crore.
Growth Drivers & Geographic Footprint:
- E-commerce sales grew 69% YoY on platforms and 23% on brand.com.
- U2O (Upto 20k towns) initiative saw volume growth of 19% and value growth of 81%.
- 41 net new showrooms were launched in Q1 FY27, expanding the dealer network to ~10,000.
- COCO (Company-Owned Company-Operated) stores: 42 stores operational, with a plan to ramp up to 50 in the next quarter.

- Q1 FY27 Revenue: ₹120 (Q1 FY26: ₹92; Q4 FY26: ₹109)
- Q1 FY27 Gross Margin: 59.2% (Q1 FY26: 54.6%; Q4 FY26: 59.5%)
- Q1 FY27 EBITDA Margin: 12.8% (Q1 FY26: 6.8%; Q4 FY26: 10.6%)
International Business - Spain / Interplasp (₹ crore):
- Q1 FY27 Revenue: ₹34.0 (Q1 FY26: ₹30.1; Q4 FY26: ₹32.4)
- Q1 FY27 EBITDA: ₹14.7 (Q1 FY26: ₹5.0; Q4 FY26: ₹12.3)
- Q1 FY27 EBITDA Margin: 10.3% (Q4 FY26: 10.3%)
STAQO (IT Business):
- Presence360 subscription base crossed 3.2 lakh users.
- ~20 new accounts added in Q1FY27, including one large government organization.
- Q1 FY27 Revenue: ₹24 crore (Q4 FY26: ₹20 crore)
- Q1 FY27 Gross Margin: 29.2% (Q4 FY26: 24.6%)
ESG & CSR Framework
ESG Ratings & Goals:
- Sustainalytics Risk Score: 28.8 (Medium Risk), improved from a previous rank of 351 to 218 within the chemicals industry.
- Strategy plan for Sustainability 2030 aligned with 4 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- Key 2030 Targets:
- Gender Diversity: Increase to 10% from 7.9% in FY26.
- Waste Reduction: Reduce to 13% from 14.5% in FY26 (aiming for 100% monetization).
- Employment of Persons with Disability: Increase to 11 persons from 7.
- Safety: Achieve ISO 45001 certification, moving from internal audits.
- Water Consumption: Reduce intensity to 39 KL/person from 44.5 KL/person.

New Product Launches:

- Kurlon: Spinekare, Springo, Orthomagic, Duorest Latex, Kurlobond, Fombed Ortho.
- Kurlon Venti series: OrthoMagic Venti and SpringRest Venti mattresses.
- New E-commerce specific models were also launched for both brands.
Marketing Campaigns:
- Sleepwell's "Great Sleepwell Festival" featured AI-led personalized ads for 2000+ dealers and celebrity content reels with Neena Gupta, Varun Sharma, and others.
- Kurlon ran a "15 minute Aaram Challenge" for Father's Day, media campaigns, and hyperlocal activations offering gifts with purchases.
- In-store activations were conducted to strengthen the U2O outreach.
