Notes to the Financial Results

1. Preparation and Approval: The results were prepared in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and Regulation 33 of the SEBI LODR Regulations. They were reviewed by the Audit Committee and approved by the Board on July 27, 2026.

2. Segment Reporting: The company has a single reportable operating segment: manufacturing and sale of Cement and Cement related products.

3. Exceptional Items: There were no exceptional items for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.

4. Going Concern: The company incurred a net loss of ₹2,134.78 lakhs for the quarter. As of June 30, 2026, accumulated losses stood at ₹59,979.91 lakhs (₹579.80 crore). This condition indicates a material uncertainty that may cast significant doubt on the company's ability to continue as a going concern. Management's assessment, based on future business plans and cash flow projections (including improved performance from a newly commissioned grinding unit and commencement of dolomite mining operations after receiving Consent to Operate), supports the preparation of financial statements on a going concern basis.

5. Deferred Tax Assets: The company reassessed its net deferred tax assets as of June 30, 2026. Based on updated management strategies and business plans, it reversed opening deferred tax assets of ₹128.78 lakhs (₹1.29 crore) corresponding to unabsorbed losses deemed not available for future utilization. Deferred tax assets are now recognized only to the extent considered reasonably certain based on updated future projections.

6. Previous Period Figures: Figures for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, are balancing figures between audited annual and reviewed nine-month results. Previous period figures have been regrouped/reclassified for comparability.
