Talos Energy Q2 2026 Results
Talos Energy Inc. (NYSE:TALO) reported second‑quarter 2026 adjusted earnings per share of $0.57, surpassing the analyst consensus estimate of $0.32 by $0.25. Revenue for the quarter was $664.81 million, exceeding the consensus estimate of $577.86 million. The company produced 93.7 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day (BOE/d) during the quarter, with both oil and total equivalent production exceeding the guidance ranges, driven by strong uptime and well performance. Adjusted EBITDA amounted to $402.4 million and adjusted free cash flow was $231.6 million. Net income was $149.7 million, or $0.88 per diluted share. Following the release, Talos shares rose 2.3% in after‑hours trading on Tuesday.

For the third quarter of 2026, Talos expects production to range from 61,000 to 65,000 barrels of oil per day and 81,000 to 85,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day. The company also raised its full‑year 2026 production guidance, now expecting oil production of 64,000 to 68,000 barrels per day and oil‑equivalent production of 87,000 to 91,000 barrels per day. The midpoint of 89,000 BOE/d compares with the original guidance midpoint of 87,500 BOE/d. This updated guidance excludes the announced Gulf of America bolt‑on acquisition and reflects the impact of the closed non‑core shelf divestment.
Talos maintained its full‑year capital expenditure guidance of $500 million to $550 million. At quarter‑end, the company held $577.6 million in cash and an undrawn credit facility. The net‑debt to last‑twelve‑months adjusted EBITDA ratio stood at 0.5×.
