Consolidated Financial Performance
- Consolidated revenue grew 12% year-over-year (YoY) to ₹5,349 crore from ₹4,779 crore in Q1 FY26
- Consolidated EBITDA grew 19% YoY to ₹592 crore from ₹465 crore
- EBITDA margins expanded by 70 basis points YoY to 13.6% from 9.7%
India Business Performance
- India business revenue grew 13% YoY to ₹3,540 crore from ₹3,126 crore
- Underlying volume growth of 13% in the India business
- India Tea volumes grew 2%, though revenue declined 4% due to pass-through of lower tea costs to consumers
- Salt business delivered 7% revenue growth led by 7% volume growth
- Value added salts delivered 13% volume growth
- Coffee business grew 24% during the quarter
Growth Businesses Performance
- 'Growth businesses' (including Tata Sampann, Ready-to-Drink, Tata Soulfull, Vending, Capital Foods and Organic India) grew 47% YoY
- These businesses now represent 36% of the India business
- Tata Sampann grew 58% YoY
- Ready-to-Drink (RTD) revenue grew 41% YoY
- Capital Foods revenue reached ₹232 crore with 40% growth
- Organic India revenue reached ₹118 crore with 27% growth
- Combined gross margin for Capital Foods and Organic India was 49%
International Business Performance
- International business revenue grew 16% YoY to ₹1,343 crore from ₹1,145 crore
- In constant currency terms, international business grew 3%
- US business delivered 7% constant currency growth
- UK business declined 2% in constant currency terms, impacted by summer conditions affecting black tea category
- Canada revenue was flat but value share improved
Non-branded Business Performance
- Non-branded business revenue declined 7% YoY to ₹498 crore from ₹536 crore
- In constant currency terms, non-branded business declined 10%
- Average Robusta coffee prices declined 26% impacting realizations
- Solubles revenue declined 12% in constant currency terms
- Plantations revenue declined 8%
