Financial Performance Overview

TVS Motor Company reported its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended 30th June 2026 (Q1 FY2026-27). The company achieved its highest-ever quarterly revenue of ₹13,896 Crores, representing a growth of 38% compared to ₹10,081 Crores in Q1 FY2025-26.

Profitability and Margins

  • The company posted its highest-ever EBITDA of ₹1,779 Crores, a growth of 41% from ₹1,260 Crores in Q1 FY2025-26.
  • EBITDA margin improved by 30 basis points to 12.8% from 12.5% in the year-ago quarter.
  • Profit After Tax (PAT) grew by 51% to ₹1,174 Crores from ₹776 Crores in Q1 FY2025-26.
  • The PAT for the quarter includes a fair valuation gain on investments held by the Company amounting to ₹150 Crores, compared to a gain of ₹28 Crores during Q1 of the previous year.

Cost Environment and Mitigation

Commodity prices witnessed a sharp upward trend during the quarter due to global market uncertainties, resulting in increased input costs. The Company partially mitigated these cost increases through price adjustments and focused cost optimisation initiatives, including scale benefits.

Sales Performance (Units)

The Company registered its highest-ever quarterly sales volume. The overall two and three-wheeler sales grew by 28% to 1.63 million units from 1.28 million units in the quarter ended June 2025.

Breakdown of Sales:

  • Motorcycles: Sales grew by 19% to 0.74 million units from 0.62 million units.
  • Scooters: Sales grew by 36% to 0.68 million units from 0.50 million units.
  • International Business: Reported a growth of 33% with sales of 0.47 million units from 0.35 million units.
  • Two-wheeler Electric Vehicles: Grew by 86% to 129,940 units from 70,060 units. TVS Motor now has more than 1 million EV customers.
  • Three-wheelers: Sales grew by 48% to 66,697 units from 44,978 units.
