Veeva Systems Q2 2026 Results and FY2027 Outlook

Veeva Systems Inc. (NYSE:VEEV) announced second‑quarter 2026 financial results that surpassed analyst expectations on all key metrics, prompting a 9% rise in the stock during after‑hours trading on Wednesday, 27 August 2026.

The company posted adjusted earnings per share of $2.35, beating the consensus estimate of $2.22 by $0.13. Revenue for the quarter reached $928.0 million, exceeding the consensus forecast of $905.41 million and representing an 18% year‑over‑year increase from $789.1 million in the comparable period of the prior year. Subscription revenue grew 16% YoY to $766.8 million.

Adjusted operating income climbed 18% YoY to $415.9 million, while adjusted net income rose 16% YoY to $387.4 million.

Guidance

For the third quarter, Veeva projected revenue of $932‑$935 million, with a midpoint of $933.5 million, surpassing the analyst consensus of $917.9 million. Adjusted EPS for Q3 was guided at $2.33‑$2.34, above the consensus of $2.28.

For the full fiscal year 2027, Veeva increased its revenue outlook to a range of $3.682‑$3.687 billion, up from the prior consensus of $3.646 billion, and reaffirmed an adjusted EPS target of approximately $9.21.

Business Highlights

CEO Peter Gassner stated that “AI is opening up the next big chapter for Veeva and life sciences,” noting that the Vault CRM platform delivered its best quarter ever and that Veeva Falcon accelerated rapidly. The Vault CRM platform now has more than 180 live customers, including five of the top‑20 biopharma companies. The Veeva Falcon agentic‑labor platform has secured five early adopters and is on track for initial deployments within the current year.

CFO Brian Van Wagener added that the second‑quarter results exceeded guidance on all metrics and that the full‑year outlook improved across the board.
