Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah extended heartfelt greetings to all citizens on the occasion of 'World Sanskrit Day' through a post on the X platform. He characterized the Sanskrit language as the foundational basis of India's knowledge tradition, culture, and consciousness, noting it is as scientific as it is ancient. Shah stated that the Vedas, Upanishads, and Shastras written in Sanskrit have been guiding humanity along the path of knowledge for centuries. He paid his respects to all scholars and teachers who have made contributions to preserving the Sanskrit language and passing it on to new generations. Separately, the Minister also extended Raksha Bandhan greetings to the people of the country on the occasion of Sawan Purnima.
