Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah commemorated Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's third consecutive term oath-taking anniversary by highlighting the developmental achievements of the Modi government over the past 12 years. In a social media post, Shah emphasized the parallel achievement of poor welfare and unprecedented development, noting that Modi has served without taking a single day off during this period.
The welfare initiatives cited include providing free ration to 80 crore people, pucca houses to more than 4 crore poor families, LPG connections to more than 10 crore families, and health insurance coverage of ₹5 lakh to 50 crore people. Infrastructure development achievements include the launch of more than 90 airports and over 140 Vande Bharat trains across the country, construction of 1.45 lakh kilometres of roads, and building over 3,000 km of modern expressways. Shah also highlighted that India has maintained its position as the fastest-growing major economy in the world under Modi's leadership, attributing this transformation to clear intent, national interest as the goal, and complete dedication.
