In a post on X commemorating #12YearsOfGaribKalyan, he stated that through various welfare schemes, the government has connected crores of citizens to banking facilities, financial security, and self-employment opportunities. The specific schemes highlighted include the food grain scheme (Ann Yojana), PM Awas (housing), Jan-Dhan (banking), Mudra Loan (micro financing), and PM Swanidhi (street vendor loans). Shah emphasized that by integrating the country's poor into the economic mainstream through the provision of basic infrastructure, social security, and a better standard of living, a strong foundation for a 'Viksit Bharat' (Developed India) is being built.
