President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu inaugurated the Amrit Udyan Summer Annuals Edition, 2026 on August 14, 2026. The gardens will be open to the public from August 16 to September 15, 2026, operating daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM with last entry permitted at 5:00 PM. The Udyan will remain closed on all Mondays for maintenance purposes.
Entry and exit for visitors will be exclusively through Gate No. 35 near North Avenue Road. Admission is free of cost, but all visitors must book their slots in advance through the online portal visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in. Booking for any particular day closes at 10:00 AM on the previous day, with no on-the-spot booking available.
For visitor convenience, several amenities will be provided including drinking water stalls, first aid posts, rain shelters, and restrooms along the visit route. A dedicated shuttle bus service with clear 'SHUTTLE SERVICE FOR AMRIT UDYAN' branding will operate between Central Secretariat Metro Station and the Udyan entry point. The shuttle will run at 30-minute intervals from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
