The Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying (DAHD) participated in Special Campaign 5.0 from October 2-31, 2025, following Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) guidelines to strengthen cleanliness practices and dispose pending matters. During this campaign, the department achieved 100% disposal targets for PMO references (3/3), parliamentary assurances (5/5), state government references (8/8), public grievances (214/214), and public grievance appeals (35/35). They disposed 11 out of 15 MP references, eased 1 rule/process, and reviewed 24,645 physical files (weeding out 22,648) and 680 e-files (closing 182). The campaign covered 221 cleanliness sites, generated revenue of ₹5,86,973, and freed 5,334 square feet of space through scrap disposal and file weeding.
From November 2025 to August 2026, the department continued the campaign and disposed 57 MP references, 2 parliamentary assurances, 4 IMC references (cabinet proposals), 5 PMO references, 2,404 public grievances, and 182 public grievance appeals. They reviewed 82 physical files and 3,786 e-files (closing 3,702), conducted cleanliness at 2 sites, disposed office scrap worth ₹2,15,000, and freed 500 square feet of space. The department is now preparing for Special Campaign 6, aligning activities with key parameters and goals to ensure measurable outcomes and long-term impact.
